Literature Analysis on the Practice of Knowledge Management in Yemeni University Libraries

Abstract

This research aims to provide literature analysis of previous studies on knowledge management practices in Yemen’s university libraries. It dealt with the knowledge management practices of libraries in higher institutions of learning in Yemen. The previous study was limited in scope and population. Unless the previous study, this current one covers a bigger sample size, it includes relevant knowledge managers and users. Understanding the level of knowledge management in Yemen’s academic libraries creates awareness of the implications this will have on the development of a knowledge-based society.
