Abstract

Information and communication technologies (ICT) have significantly changed the way we live and have become an inseparable part of human lives, withyouth usingthese technologies on a daily basis and for various purposes. This paper provides an exploratory study of online shopping addiction (OSA)among youths, mainly students of theinstitutesof higher learning.Atotal of 351 students in Malaysia answered the distributed questionnaire survey. The results conclude that online shopping addiction is not too dangerous to people, and the shopaholics are mostly femaleteenagersand women.
